AI Literacy
Understanding AI
Children learn how AI systems appear in everyday tools and how they can shape information, learning, and choices.
Children's Digital Rights & AI Literacy
The CHILD-AI project supports children, educators, and communities in understanding artificial intelligence, digital rights, and online safety. Together, we are building a safer, more inclusive, and empowering digital future for all.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is already part of our daily lives, from social media to online learning. CHILD-AI helps children understand how these technologies work, how they affect their lives, and how to use them safely and responsibly.

About the Project
CHILD-AI (Children's Holistic Initiatives for Literacy and Digital-AI Inclusion) is a European project that promotes children's digital skills, safety, and rights in the digital world. The project focuses particularly on Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina, while building strong collaboration with EU partners.
Children are exposed to digital technologies from a very young age. This creates opportunities, but also brings risks that many children and educators need support to navigate.
CHILD-AI provides education, tools, and support for safer, more responsible digital engagement and stronger protection of children's rights online.
Partners from Greece, Cyprus, Estonia, Serbia, Albania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina bring expertise in education, technology, child protection, and policy development.
Our Goals
CHILD-AI helps children understand AI, privacy, and online risks, trains educators to deliver modern digital education, and promotes ethical use of technology across digital education systems.
Help children understand artificial intelligence, privacy, and online risks so they can participate in the digital world with confidence.
Encourage responsible technology use and safer online engagement for children, educators, families, and communities.
Train educators and equip them with modern teaching tools for digital and AI education.
Address digital inequalities and gender gaps so more children can access knowledge, tools, and meaningful participation.
